I've spent way to much time trying to get this right and I'm just not getting the desired image I want.

I don't know how other artist paint with their mouses without a tablet but I find it extremely difficult as I've spent over 50 hours on this and I'm finding it far to difficult to achieve the style and effects I want without the correct tools but here it is as I've decided to not spend any more time on this. (I do realise her skin still needs more definition and fixing up but I just can't waste any more time on this.)

If you look a little closer at her skin mainly on her fingers and above her eye it's either to to blurry or blotchy were the blending isn't perfect. But I am happy that you and others like it so I may be a little to hard on myself. Thank you

Its done amazingly well, but a tablet does make "painting" so much easier.

I've never had an opportunity to use a tablet and from the artwork I've seen on DA it does appear easier to use mainly because of the pressure that adjusts the strokes that are made which a mouse is unable to do.
